Fabulous “Everyday” Exterior Details In New York’s Upper East Side

One of the most enjoyable things about New York City to this Kansas City Interior Designer, is the opportunity to walk and admire all of the beauty of the buildings and store windows.  I love the “break” you are given to let your mind and eyes wander to all of the details each street has to offer.  As I am a willing slave to my camera, I took some shots of some of what I found inspiring.  I hope you find they bring you some joy, too.

Dining In New York City

I had a wonderful time in New York this past week working with my partners on a Manhattan apartment in the Upper East Side.  I LOVE NEW YORK!

It is nothing short of fabulous!

I would love to share a few of my adventures with you while there in my next several blogs.  One of several fun events was lunch with Steve Nobel.  He is the co-founder of the Luxury Home Alliance and speaks all over the nation.  We had a wonderful light lunch of the most elegant and delicious cheese soufflé and salad.  It is always a delight to speak about interior design with someone that knows it so well, too….the direction interior design is going and all of the exciting changes we see in the future.  So much to talk about!

We dined at the fantastic Swifty’s designed by the famous Mario Buatta and Anne Eisenhower in NYC.  It is a wonderful little “secret” you must try…with such an interesting history!
